Today I had a chili cook-off contest at work. They hold one each year to raise money for the Christmas party. I made Chili Con Queso, which is translated to chili with cheese. Anyway, my dad also entered the contest (he works at the same agency as me) but my sister made the chillli for him. So it was me versus my sister (and about 10 other people, but I knew that our chili is really good). My sioster makes excelent chili, and I thought that she would probably win, although mine is really good too. When the judges made their decision, I ended up winning first place, and Bridget won second place. It was a sweep for my family, so that is cool. I now have bragging rights on the best chili, although I really like her chili too.

Anyway last night I had to get an onion to use in my chili. I stopped and got diapers for Missy while I was out. I also took back my cans and bottles for the refund, and got $8.60 back for groceries ($0.10 per can). When I dropped off the diapers Grace kept bringing books to me to read to her. She is such a happy baby, she always brings a smile to my face. If it weren't for her, it would be so much easier to deal with Missy leaving me. Oh well, I will deal just like everyone else has to deal with what life throws their way.
